Rugby SEATS!

SEAT Ireland has presented brand ambassadors Donncha O'Callaghan, James Coughlan and Doug Howlett with all-new Alhambra MPVs in the iconic setting of Blackrock Castle Observatory in Cork.

The famous Munster trio were appointed as SEAT brand ambassadors last year following the announcement of SEAT as the official car partner to Munster Rugby.

The three-year deal sees SEAT as title sponsor of the Munster Schools Senior and Junior Cups.

SEAT Ireland said: "With up to 2,340 litres of space, optional automatic sliding doors and a range of sporty engines, the new seven-seater SEAT Alhambra makes driving more fun and more comfortable.

"The SEAT Alhambra is also big on safety, with seven airbags and other advanced safety features that have helped it gain a five-star Euro NCAP rating."

Cian O'Brien, Director of SEAT Ireland, said: "To have three top-class Munster representatives as SEAT brand ambassadors is huge for our brand.

"We are very proud our partnership and association with Munster Rugby, while we are also very proud of the Alhambra, which has always been one of our best-performing models."

The car partnership deal between SEAT and Munster Rugby has already afforded the brand a high level of visibility with permanent car displays in Thomond Park as well as pitch signage.

This increased level of visibility has been borne out by SEAT enjoying a remarkable 2013, finishing the year with a 62% increase in sales and a 3% market share.
