Renault Finance is offering six months' free car finance on a new 132 Renault Clio, Megane or Fluence.

The 132 range starts from €149 per month with Renault's new finance product, called Renault ReFlex.

Renault ReFlex is a personal contract plan (PCP), which allows a customer to drive away in a new Renault every three years by guaranteeing a minimum future value for their vehicle.

Renault goes on to say buyers can drive away in a new 132 Fluence in July from €199 per month for 36 months.

If a customer takes up this finance offer, Renault will provide an additional contribution of six monthly payments, making the car more affordable to purchase.

Renault Finance's PCP Product launched in January of this year and already 25% of finance customers choose to purchase a new Renault through a PCP scheme.

Gaelle Humbert, Managing Director, Renault Finance, said: "Our overall objective is making new cars more affordable for the Irish consumer.

"With this in mind, we launched our Personal Contract Plan, ReFlex, at the start of 2013 and already we have seen one in four of our new finance customers choosing to take this product.

"The concept is to keep the monthly payments affordable for consumers and provide them with a choice at the end of their agreement, which allows them to trade in for a new car, keep their existing car or hand the keys back and walk away.

"The customer has the choice, which is why we have seen such a positive response in such a short time to the PCP product.

"For 132 we are going a step further and giving customers real value by providing the contribution to their first six monthly payments when they finance through Renault Finance."

Renault Finance has lent over €75m to Irish customers in just over a year and it claims an 80% approval rate on loans for passenger vehicles.

Renault finance employs 20 staff in Dundrum, Dublin.
