Special 308s

Peugeot has launched two Special Edition 308 models in Ireland this February.

Fitted with Peugeot's world-renowned 1.6 HDi 92bhp diesel engine, the 308 Access Plus and Active Urban Special Edition models offer customers more driving pleasure and combine style, quality and economy.

The new Access Plus model is based on the current Access model, which is already well-equipped: standard specification includes full size spare wheel, six airbags, ESP, aircon, two ISOFIX child seat points, electric child locks for both rear doors and rear electric windows.

The Access Plus model, priced from €21,495 plus dealer delivery-related charges, gains €1,000 worth of extra equipment at no extra cost to the consumer, to include front fog lights, alloy wheels and Bluetooth.

The new Active Urban model, from €22,595 plus dealer delivery-related charges, gains reverse parking sensors and electric folding mirrors.

The Peugeot 308, a twice world-record setter for low consumption and most distance travelled from one tank of fuel, is a medium-sized family car that is comfortable, well-equipped and economical.

The efficient 1.6 HDi diesel engine returns up to 4.2 litres/100km consumption and emits 110g/CO2, to allow low running costs and an A3 road tax band of €190 per annum.

The new Special Edition 308 models benefit from one year's free road tax during the month of February plus Peugeot Ireland's move to an extended warranty in 2013, offers customers five years' peace of mind motoring.
