According to figures released by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), the Ford Focus retained its title as Ireland's top-selling car in the 2013 January sales period.

Total car sales for the month were 17,293, down 18.8% on the same period last year.

VW was the biggest-selling car brand.
