The show will also see the European debut of the Colt replacement (likely to be called the Mirage), which will launch in Ireland early in 2013, and the new Outlander SUV, a vehicle that will be on Irish shores this November.

The all-new Outlander will launch in November with a highly efficient clean diesel engine, but it has been fully engineered with Mitsubishi's new PHEV technology in mind.

The Outlander body will accommodate an EV-Based plug-in hybrid power-train - a fully integrated solution based on Mitsubishi Motors' EV technology and extensive 4-wheel-drive expertise.

When fitted to New Outlander, the Mitsubishi Plug-in Hybrid EV system can achieve a range of over 880km and emissions targeted below 49g/km.

The Colt replacement is "efficient by design" and features class-leading manoeuvrability and easy operation in every aspect. In addition, it achieves top-of-class fuel efficiency, with CO2 emissions below 100g/km.

These announcements form an integral and exciting part of Mitsubishi Motors' new range of global products.
