i20 engines are now: a 1.1CRDI diesel engine (6-speed manual) and a 1.2 litre petrol engine (5-speed manual).

There are changes to the exterior design plus refreshed wheel designs and a hexagonal front grille that features the Hyundai family look. There are engine improvements too.

The petrol engine produces less CO2 (114g/km), power is up to from 78PS to 85PS. There is also a 4.2% increase on fuel economy from 55.4 mpg to 57.7 MPG. The Diesel gets: a 23.6% reduction in CO2 Emissions versus the outgoing 1.4CRDi (110g/km to 84g/km). 13.5% increase on Fuel economy versus the outgoing 1.4 CRDI engine (67.3mpg to 88mpg).

Specification: Increased standard specification, previously unavailable on the i20, include: Automatically dimming rear view mirror with reversing rear view camera, Rear parking assist program and reversing sensors, Rain Sensing Wipers, Aux +USP+IPOD Connectivity, Voice Activated Bluetooth /IPOD Cable, Multifunction leather steering wheel and Gear Knob, LED daytime running lights, Front and rear, Electric windows/ Tinted Glass, Keyless Entry with folding Key, Front Fog Lights and 15” alloy wheels and mudguards.

Pricing on the new Face-lifted i20: 5-door 1.2 litre petrol Elite Plus €15,495, 5-door Elite Plus Diesel €16,995 (Prices exclude delivery and related charges).
