The Merrion Square Innovation Network in association with Hennessy Cognac Ireland is delighted to announce that Christmas on the Square is to return this year following the success of the initial 2012 event.
The expanded programme will take place on Saturday the 30 of November with many of the houses on the Square open to the public creating a cultural and shopping trail in the heart of the Georgian Quarter for everyone to enjoy.
Among those opening are the Irish Architectural Archive, the bookshop at the RIAI, the music shop at the Irish Traditional Music Archive and the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland. Irish Artisan food producers will be gathered together in the elegant surroundings of the College of Anaesthetists offering guests the opportunity to purchase and sample festive goods.
Hennessy Cognac Ireland promises to bring yuletide celebrations with The Art of Christmas - a series of demonstrations led by the experts at Appassionata Flowers including wreath making, table centres of course decking your halls. Hennessy will also be on hand throughout the day with an expert mixologist to show you how to make delicious winter warming cocktails.
