A really easy and quick fish dish that you will have prepared in under 10 minutes.


  • 4 filleted herrings
  • 100 g seasoned oatmeal flakes
  • lemon juice
  • butter for frying


  • Roll the herrings in the oatflakes and fry in hot butter in a heavy-bottomed frying pan, for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  • Drain on absorbent paper and serve immediately, sprinkled with lemon juice.
