This is what I call a lemon or ginger zinger! With the vitamin C and bioflavonoids of the lemon, the ginger that increases circulation and boosts nutrient transport around the body and the beta-carotene of the carrots, this juice is powerful stuff for enhancing the immune system. And great to kick out a cold that has already got a hold.


  • 2 carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 1 inch thick slice of lemon (unwaxed/with rind)
  • 1/4 inch fresh root ginger
  • 2 ice cubes


  • Introduce carrots and apples to juicer first, then lemon and finally ginger and ice cubes.
  • Stir and enjoy.
