A tasty alternative to boiled spuds.


  • 1 kg kipler potatoes
  • 1 bunch chives
  • 50 g butter
  • sea salt to season


  • Thoroughly wash 1 kg of kipler potatoes, then rub clean with a dish cloth. Cut the potatoes in half.
  • Chop 1 bunch of chives.
  • Heat 50g of butter in a large frying pan. Add the potato and brown over medium high heat.
  • Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for 20 minutes.
  • Add the chives at the end of cooking and season with fine sea salt.
