The perfect accompaniment to numerous desserts.


  • 60 g cocoa powder
  • 250 ml water
  • 125 g caster sugar
  • 30 g butter


  • Simmer the cocoa, water and sugar together, stirring, for 3 minutes.
  • Add the butter, and return to a simmer.
  • Add more water, if necessary, to make a pouring consistency.
