- 3 heads broccoli
- 6 cloves garlic sliced
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 tblsp extra virgin olive oil
- Heat a large sauté pan over a medium high heat. Add the olive oil and sauté the broccoli until it is tender but still crisp, add the garlic, red pepper flakes and season with salt.
- Toss the vegetable for a few seconds and serve. (the heat from the broccoli will continue to cook the garlic sufficiently. I am always careful not to over cook vegetables like broccoli or it may have an undesirable after taste).
