RTÉ One, 4:30pm

Today is a brand new daytime programme, broadcasting live on RTÉ One, weekdays from 4pm from Cork. The hour-long show is fronted by the team of Dáithí O Sé and Maura Derrane Monday to Thursday, while Norah Casey and Bláithnaid Ní Chofaigh present a female-led Friday afternoon. Each day the presenters will be joined in studio by a panel of three guests, plus additional specialist contributors live in studio and via live link-ups from around the country. Top chefs Lilly Higgins, Paul Flynn, Catherine Fulvio, Kevin Dundon and Martin Shanahan will be part of daily cooking items on the show and their recipes will appear on the RTÉ Food website for viewers to try at home.

Beef in red wine - Vittoria is regarded as the centre of the wine trade in Ragusa, especially famous for an award winning red wine called Cerasuolo di Vittorio. The wine was delicious and I always say you should only cook with a wine you would be happy to serve to your friends to drink, so here goes!
