Just ten hopefuls are left in the competition hoping to win the title of MasterChef Ireland 2012, and the challenge is about to get tougher.

This week the final MasterChef contestants are put into some of the coolest restaurants in Dublin to really test their skills – cooking for real diners in real kitchens under the watchful eye of each restaurant’s Head Chef.

Each amateur cook will need to be at their best, as only five will be chosen as the best performers on the day, whilst the remaining five will face the ultimate test where skill and precision are to the fore in the first Pressure Test of the Series.

One person will be going home at the end of the show.
