Tonight the contestants get to represent themselve through a dish but are surprised by a major twist!

Tonight, the competition heats up as those final 16 MasterChef Ireland contestants have been asked to come up with a dish that which portrays their personality - You on a Plate. This dish must represent themselves and their passion for cooking to impress judges Dylan and Nick.

However, in a twist on last year’s unique task, Nick and Dylan turn up the pressure even more when they inform the 16 contestants that they are no longer cooking their personality dish, but now must swap places with the person beside them and as a result using only the other contestant’s ingredients, create a stunning dish to impress the judges.

With contestants completely out of their comfort zone but with the knowledge that at the end of the task four people will be eliminated from that Final 16, competition will be ferocious. Just 12 contestants will remain after eliminations to continue in their battle to become MasterChef Ireland 2012.
