If ever there was a 'wow' bread, then in my humble opinion, this is it! This Tuscan bread celebrates the wine grape harvest. As you can imagine, it's stunning with cheese. The grapes begin to caramelise when baked and form a delicious, slightly crispy topping.
Vittoria is regarded as the centre of the wine trade in Ragusa, especially famous for an award winning red wine called Cerasuolo di Vittorio. The wine was delicious and I always say you should only cook with a wine you would be happy to serve to your friends to drink, so here goes!
Decorate with mint leaves and a dusting of icing sugar.
