CALLING ALL FOODIES!
For a third year, you can test your knowledge of all things food, wine and general knowledge (just to keep you on your toes) at the Great Irish Foodie Quiz.
Organised by chef Aine Maguire, the quiz takes place on Thursday, March 1st, in the Circle Club of the Grand Canal Theatre.
“This is an opportunity for gourmets, gourmands and just plain gluttons to put their foodie knowledge to the test, have some fun and maybe even win one of our great prizes, all for a good cause” Aine Maguire says.
Prizes include hotel breaks, VIP tickets to Taste of Dublin in June, a side of dry-aged beef and a pair of truffle trees, among many others! Not only will you be tested on your knowledge, there will also be pratical rounds of wine tasting, ingredient sniffing out and even ‘guess the cocktail’! Myles McSweeney will MC the event.
The night begins at 7:30pm and all proceeds from donations go to Down Syndrome Ireland. To enter, each team of four must donate and follow the instructions

Down Syndrome Ireland provide a wide range of supports and services to people with Down syndrome, their families and the professionals that assist them. The charity relies almost exclusively on donations and fundraising so every cent counts towards helping people with Down Syndrome.
