Your chance to #Win !
To celebrate our summer salads week and the great summer festival of Taste of Dublin taking place this weekend, we have nabbed a last-minute pair of tickets to the festival for this Sunday afternoon, June 16th 2013, from 12-4pm.
One of our favourite celebrity chefs here on RTÉ Food, Ballyknocken's Catherine Fulvio will be talking and demonstrating about food safety and the EU regulations in place to protect and respect the food we eat.
Catherine says: “I’m pleased to be involved in this campaign, which aims to impress on people the importance of looking after the health of our animals and plants, and to restore consumer confidence in our food sector: it's important the consumer knows and understands exactly where their food comes from.”
“Although the horsemeat scandal knocked our confidence it was an opportunity for the EU to improve our food safety legislation; I now feel confident about the safety of our food: you should too.”
Fulvio will be giving demonstrations at the European Commission’s “Food for Thought” Theatre at the Taste of Dublin this coming weekend and we want to send one lucky reader, plus their guest, to the festival this Sunday afternoon.
To enter, get those thumbs tapping and tweet us ( @RTEFood ). All you need to do is watch this ultra short video and tweet us telling us which EU 'sector' Catherine is talking about. Make sure you are following us first and you must include #EUFarmToFork in your tweet to us.
EG: "@RTEFood Catherine is talking about the ____ sector #EUFarmToFork"
