Irish designers for charity catwalk show

Nine of Ireland's best up-and-coming designers are set to showcase their designs at a charity catwalk show.

The event, Fashion Distilled, is taking place on Friday October 18 at the Dublin Whiskey Company in Dublin.

The top young Irish designers who are showcasing their autumn/winter collections are Emma Manley, Heidi Higgins, Lisa McCabe, Natalie Coleman, Sinead Doyle, Ailis Mara, Andrea Cullen, Ciara Murphy, and Colin Horgan.

The glamorous night of fashion kicks off at 7pm with a drinks reception, followed by the catwalk presentation and a high-fashion raffle featuring prizes donated by international designers such as John Rocha and Phillip Treacy.

All proceeds from Fashion Distilled will be divided between the A&C Foundation’s seven chosen charities which include Irish Autism Action, MS Ireland, Global NGO Centres, the ISPCC, the Irish Wheelchair Association, the Sarah Bird Foundation, supporting humanitarian work in conflict zones and following natural disasters, and the CRY Foundation, tackling cardiac risk in the young.

The A&C Foundation is an Irish registered charity, with no paid members of staff, which supports fundraising for Irish Charities, returning 100% of all monies raised.

Tickets for Fashion Distilled cost €30 and can be bought here.
