London Fashion Week - Trend Report

We've seen what the designers of New York Fashion week had to offer and now it's time to take a look at what was trending on the runways of London for spring/summer 2014.

Flower Power:

Although we've all seen the floral trend done before, the designers showing at London Fashion Week took it a whole new level with amazing, 3D floral inspired creations being seen at Erdem, Sister by Sibling, Mathew Williamson and Mary Katrantzou.

    Pleats:

Pretty, girly and super chic – pleats are a timeless classic and they made in an appearance in a whole range of different sizes on the catwalks of London Fashion Week

Whether it was pink eye shadow at Burberry, pink lips at Fyodor Gulan or apink plastic cami tops at Preen, it was almost impossible to escape the super the girlie colour at LFW.

Just like at New York Fashion week, the sheer trend was huge on the runways of London. Erdem, Simone Rocha, Burberry and JW Anderson were just some of a huge amount of designers who opted to incorporate transparent elements into their collections

Eye- Liner:

The classic cat eye is a look that never really goes out of style and this LFW, seen the likes of Aquascutum, Ashish, Pearce Fionda and Sister by Sibling opting for the feline flick.

Frayed Denim:

Looking like you just tore your favourite denim jacket is set to be all the rage for spring/summer 2014 with Topshop Unique, Marque Almedia and Ashish creating looks with rock n' roll shredded edges.
