Naomi Campbell has revealed that she will always look upon fellow super model Kate Moss as her "little sister".

Speaking to Interview magazine for their September issue the model said: “Kate is like my sister. No matter how old she is - she's going to be 40 next year - I look at her as my little sister.”

Explaining how she first met Moss, Campbell said: “I was first introduced to Kate by a makeup artist who was on tour with Madonna called Sharon Gault. This was 1992. I was introduced to Kate and Mario Sorrenti at the same time. Then I met Kate again in Madrid. I kidnapped her and that was it.”

She added: “I kidnapped her, stopped in Paris to pick up Christy [Turlington], and we all flew to Dublin together.”

Campbell, who has been in the fashion industry for almost 30 years, also explained how having confidence has gotten her to where she is today.

“Fake it till you make it,” she said, “I'm determined, and I'm passionate and driven about whatever I commit myself to do. If I don't know something, I'm going to ask, and I've got no problems in asking questions. I never have.”

The 43-year-old model’s interview forms part of a series of interviews with the original supermodels of the 80s and 90s including Kate Moss, Stephanie Seymore, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Amber Valletta and Daria Werbowy.

As well as giving candid interviews the women also posed for some beautiful black and white shots taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggoy for the cover as well as posing for some partially nude shots which feature inside the magazine.
