Laura Whitmore was in town last Thursday to launch this year's Dublin Fashion Festival.
The festival, organised by Dublintown.ie, will run from the 5th to the 8th of September and will see Whitmore return to the city to take part in the packed programme of events.
Commenting on her involvement with the festival Whitmore said: “I always love coming home to Ireland but coming back to celebrate Dublin city and fashion, two things close to my heart, make this trip extra special.”
She added: “Dublin town is one of my favourite shopping destinations - it has such a great mix of shops, from independent boutiques to designer options, and great restaurants and buzzing bars to round off a perfect day of retail therapy.”
The festival will bring together over 100 retailers including Brown Thomas, Arnotts, Clery’s, Marks and Spencer and Penneys.
Some highlights of this year’s festival include the Creative Quarter Fashion show which show case the best pieces from the creative quarter area and the pampering bus which will visit locations across the city offering manicures, makeovers and beauty tips.
The festival will also feature a mad hatter lunch, a young designer showcase, pop-up catwalks and fashion parades.
