Kate Moss has revealed that her daughter Lila Grace is obsessed with the Devil Wears Prada.
Moss told Allure: “She's watched The Devil Wears Prada ten times, and she's got a desk in her room with a phone.” She added, “She puts a little outfit on and picks up the phone: 'Hello, Miranda Priestly's office.’”
The film tells the story of an assistant to a powerful magazine editor named Miranda Priestly, a character widely believed to be based on US Vogue editor, Anna Wintour.
“I say, 'Lila, do you know who Miranda Priestly is in real life?' But she just doesn't care. She's like, 'Hello, Miranda Priestly's office. Can you hold? Patrick Demarchelier on the line!' I died when I heard her do it. So funny. She doesn't have a clue who she is, but it's word for word."
In the candid interview, Kate also explained that she believes self confidence is the key to looking good: “'With confidence, I think anyone can get a dress and make it their own. I don't think you should have it off the runway and wear it like they want you to wear it. You know, with their hair and makeup - their woman. I just think it's boring. You have to make it your own. That's what fashion is all about.”
