Debenhams take the weight off weddings

Debenhams are launching a new online service for grooms and groomsmen to precisely tailor their wedding outfit order.

Debenhams have been planning an advanced online order service for formal wear hire, specifically helping husbands-to-be organise their perfect wedding tux.

The new website, www.debenhams-formalhire.com, allows grooms to build their entire wedding outfit online. Men can choose their style of suit, co-ordinate it with different waistcoats and neckwear and save these outfits in their virtual wardrobe.

They can then arrange to try on their chosen outfit in their local Debenhams store before making that all important final decision, where they’ll also receive expert help and advice on picking the right suit – all completely free of charge.

The site, launching right in the middle of the popular summer wedding season, offers a full range of on-trend designs, as well as the more traditional morning suits with tailcoats. Colour palettes range from this season’s top contender, slate grey, to the more traditional black, navy and mid grey. And there is a full collection of shirts to match any outfit and neckwear.

Also available from the Debenhams Formal Hire site is a unique collection of formalwear from Jeff Banks, the international designer for Debenhams with over four decades of experience.
