Proenza Schouler take home coveted CFDA Award
New York City design duo Proenza Schouler have scooped the coveted Womenswear Designer of the Year award at the CFDA Awards last night.
The design duo, made up of Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, took home the award for the third time at the ceremony last night in New York City, having previously won in 2007 and 2011.
Vera Wang was presented the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award by her former mentor, acclaimed designer Ralph Lauren.
Oscar de la Renta was presented with the Founder's Award, which was given to him by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Thom Browne picked up the Menswear Designer of the Year award, while Philip Lim took home the Accessories Designer of the Year.
The International Award went to Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci.
