Nudes rule the Golden Globes red carpet

Nudes ruled the red carpet at the 70th Annual Golden Globes on Sunday night (January 13), with an array of actresses slipping in to pale coloured gowns.

Anne Hathaway, who took home the gong for Best Supporting for her role in Les Miserables, chose a strapless white Chanel encrusted in glittering crystals.

Her Les Miserables co-star Amanda Seyfried opted for a blush-coloured lace Givenchy frock which featured sheer panelling.

Megan Fox went for a strapless nude Dolce & Gabbana dress, which she paired with Jimmy Choo shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.

Amy Adams stunned in a Marchesa gown which featured a form fitting bodice and tulle skirt.

Jennifer Lopez showed off her curves in a Zuhair Murad long-sleeved gown which featured an ivory embroidered lace overlay.

Glee star Lea Michele shimmered in a leg-baring Elie Saab gown which featured a halterneck and thigh-high split.

Jessica Alba opted for a dash of colour in a pale peach Oscar de la Renta frock paired with Harry Winston jewellery and a Roger Vivier clutch.

Silver Linings Playbook star Jennifer Lawrence picked up a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and impressed in a red Dior haute couture gown which featured a voluminous skirt and belted waist.

Homeland's Claire Danes, who won the award for Best Actress in a TV Drama, also went for red in a figure-hugging Versace gown.

New Girl star Zooey Deschanel went for a strapless red Oscar de le Renta ballgown.
