O2 has teamed up with Irish designer Emma Manley to launch a nationwide design competition called Paper, Scissors...Rock.
The competition offers aspiring Irish designers the chance to create a costume for both male and female O2 angels to be worn at every gig at The O2.
The O2 angels are the promotional team that host O2 customers and music fans at over 100 gigs each year at The O2.
Watch our interview with Emma Manley here.
The winner of Paper Scissors...Rock will bag €2,000 prize money, tickets to The O2 and have their winning costumes to be admired by over 1 million music fans visiting The O2 every year.
As well as this, Emma Manley, one of Ireland’s hottest young designers, is offering the winner a two week internship in the lead up to her 2013 London and Paris shows.
Emma Manley said: "I’m delighted to be involved with this design competition, it is really tough for fashion designers to get a break and it’s great to see O2 supporting young designers by providing them with such a unique platform for their work to be showcased."
The closing date for entries is 12 noon Monday December 10. For full competition entry details and to download the design brief, visit www.O2.ie/paperscissorsrock
