Jennifer Lawrence won the Best Actress gong for Silver Linings Playbook. We hate this constricting Dior gown, and we imagine she now does too after suffering a wardrobe malfunction en route to the stage

Nina Dobrev, one of our favourite looks of the night hands down. We love the simplicity of this look. The block pink Elie Saab hugs her frame impeccably, with minimal styling and accessories, we are in love!

Glee star Jane Lynch took a risk with this black gown. It's a little dramatic, but we think it hugs her curves beautifully. She is wearing David Meister

Julia Stiles looked a little boring in this grey gown but compared to others, wasn't the worst on the night in this Amen Couture number.

Ellie Kemper was one of our favourites in this beautiful mint gown. The detail is something to behold and this is how nude should be done, as the sheer fabric matches her skin tone impeccably.

Anne Hathaway was also a winner who took a big risk on the night. She wore this ultra-sheer gown with heavy tulle on the sides, designed by Giambattista Valli. We needed a slick more colour, if we're honest.

Rose Byrne turned up in this odd coral-toned number by Valentino. We don't think it was a match made in heaven and unfortunately Rose was probably high on the worst dressed of the night list.

Michelle Dockery took a daring approach by choosing this Chado Ralph Rucci vintage gown with side-boob! We think she always looks stunning and it's nice to see her in something other than Louis Vuitton

Juliana Margulies unfortunately didn't win us over in this monochrome Chado Ralph Rucci gown. The slit is unecessary due to the volume of the skirt, though we love the curved empire line fit on her though!

Jessica Chastain grows on us the more we see her in this Alexander McQueen gown. the look is all a bit plain for the usually heavy risk-taking actress, but we love the colour against her pale skin and flame red hair.
