We've searched high and low and found the best and worst on the red carpet this week. Internationally, we take a look at what the celebrities wore. Who needs a makeover and who should sack the stylist? Let us know your thoughts!
Jo Whiley looks amazing doesn't she? Rocking lavender heels with this floaty, floral, black dress. It's red-carpet ready but also retaining her personal style. A laid-back hairstyle is the perfect addition. We absolutely love the simplicity, best dressed!
We're unsure about this new hair colour January Jones is rocking but she looks sensational in this Mary Katrantzou A/W 12 Nebraska dress. Jones likes to take a risk and sometimes it doesn't pay off but here it works!
Not sure about Dionne Bromfield's matchy-matchy make-up choice, but this dress is so appropriate for her. She tends to dress older than her years but this is fun, youthful and simple. Not many starlets could control the mix of colour and clash of prints
Ouch. Eva Mendes looks like a Stepford Wife gone wrong in this tweed print halter dress. Could be just the angle of the shot but it looks so boxy and unnecessary on a woman celebrated for her curves and figure-appropriate dressing. Worst dressed..
Jennifer Beals is a rare sight on the red carpet, so we loved when we seen her in this orange and black gown for a Youtube conference. It looks sensational on her and we love the fashion twist. Bravo!
Scarlett Johansson beams with pride and happiness as she unveils her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Wearing form-fitting, monochrome Preen, the actress looks demure, professional and has a lovely mix of retro and modern going on!
Lea Michele wore this Jenni Kayne white dress on the red carpet this week. We especially love the silver Giambattista Valli strapped sandals to give this look a lift. Her thick fringe and and up-do really complement the simple shift dress
Looking radiant in Dolce & Gabbana is Glee actress Jayma Mays. We always love Jayma on the red carpet because we feel it reflects her cutesy, prim character in Glee. Though we would have liked to see a pop of colour on a belt maybe?
..and how not to wear Dolce & Gabbana. Georgia Salpa literally squeezes herself into this look. Pixie Lott wore it much more fashionably two months ago as a halter top and skirt. Great colours on the model but the fit is so off-putting
Ivanka Trump looks absolutely breathtaking at the White House Correspondants dinner. There is a slight case of peek-a-boo because of the paparrazi flashes, but this new mom couldn't look better! We prefer her hair darker too!
Kate Hudson attended the same event as Trump, alongside her mother Goldie Hawn. But Hudson steals the show in this shimmering purple Jenny Packham dress. The overall look is WOW and we have certainly missed Hudson of late!
Michelle Obama was the, rightfully-deserved, best dressed at the White House Correspondants Ball. Wearing a sensationally-coloured Naeem Khan. We do prefer the toga-style look that was shown on the runway but this is just beautiful!
Credit where credit is due, Liz Hurley really knows how to be glamorous and is a red carpet aficionado at this stage! This glitzy dress in a lovely nude/peach tone works gorgeously against her skin and is demure and rich-looking
At a breast cancer event where the theme is 'hot pink' it's easy to go down the debs dress route, but we have to applaud Carolyn Murphy for bringing a fashion twist to the event, while keeping to the theme. Looking sensational!
This is what Lindsay Lohan always should have been. A-list actress spotted at the White House Correspondants Ball in between hit movies, with a killer dress and overall styling. Please keep this up Lindsay, everyone is rooting for you now!
Dakota 'Don't touch my hair' Fanning attending the White House event in gorgeous Prada. The cut and shape would look amazing on a fashionable teen star as well as a glamorous older actress. Just do something different once with your hair Dakota!
Amy Poehler tends to stick to conservative looks and darker colours so we love when her bubbly personality is reflected in her styling choices. The crimson red is a killer colour on her and we love the contrast with the lighter red on top
We are definitely having a very LeeLee month and we love it. From elegant, womanly Jil Sander to this quite harsh, androgynous look. We cannot get enough, and Hollywood needs more actresses like this! Expect her achieve big things this year!
Bond Girl Berenice Marlohe looks absolutely sensational in this Roksanda Illincic current collection dress in aqua blue. Ignore the horrible black pumps. From her tousled, rich and dark locks to her smoky, yet bare make-up. Amazing!
