Chanel has updated its classic Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow palettes for spring 2014.
These lovely palattes have been reformulated in eight new colour harmonies, and we're finding it hard to pick a favourite.
If we had to narrow it down, Rivoli (nude and second skin shades) Mademoiselle (beiges and browns) and the show-stopping Venetian (shades of green) would top our wish list.
The new Les Ombres shades have been inspired by tweed, a material synonymous with the House of Chanel. Each combination of four eyeshadows mirror the coloured threads of the fabric - and can be used to create a variety of looks, much like the classic tweed jacket.
The shadows have been reformulated with a new soft and long-lasting texture so you can easily layer and blend the shades to create your perfect eye makeup look.
The silky formulation means they are a breeze to apply, leaving a luminous, satin finish on the eye.
Each palette contains a range of shades, from light to dark, to highlight and contour the eye, while the textures differ from satin to metallic, so there are endless ways to use them.
Take a look at some beautiful imagery demonstrating two contrasting looks that have been created using the Venetian eye palette.
Smokey Eye Look
Also forming part of the range is a new take on the Le Volume De Chanel mascara (€23) - now in a waterproof version for spring. The fantastically lash-plumping formula provides impact with just one coat, and as an added bonus, you can also pick it up in chocolate brown and khaki green.
The Chanel Les 4 Ombres collection for spring 2014 will be available from Chanel counters from March 7.
