Salon review: REDS Hair at Revive

Having already sampled some of the lovely treatments at Revive in Milltown, including their Eve Lom and Intraceuticals Infusion facials, I was excited to try out the REDS hair salon at Revive.

The salon specialise in colour, so I decided to give my hair colour an update at the hands of the fantastic hair stylist Tara.

My mid-length bob was starting to look really drab, so we decided to add some subtle balyage highlights, mainly concentrated on the front part with a few scattered at the back.

Tara made the lighter ends look as natural as possible using a backcombing technique to separate the ends of my hair, just leaving small segments to add the lightener to.

She then applied a Redken toner all over my hair to bring out my natural colour and shine.

The end result was flattering and subtle, glossy brown hair with very graduated lighter ends - just what I was looking for.
