John Freida's International Creative Director Kerry Warn and Global Creative Consultant Luigi Merenu share the hottest hair trends for autumn/winter 2012.

MODERN GEISHA

All aboard the Orient Express, a twisted up-do that
combines Origami flare with the glamour of old Hollywood
was the call to action by Luigi Mureno backstage at Zac Posen.

CREATE IT
The base of the chignon was
wrapped in duct tape for a
Samurai twist.

The remaining ends that were left out
were then ironed with straighteners,
sealed with another slick of John Frieda
Frizz-Ease Hair Serum Original Formula
and positioned in an upright position for
a modern Geisha feel.

Once the style was securely in place,
the look was sealed with a liberal spritz
of John Frieda Luxurious Volume
Thickening Hairspray.

HOT CROSSED BUNS

Military braided buns are the epitome of utility chic. Luigi Murenu created his model army backstage at Max Mara.

CREATE IT

Hair was prepped from lengths to ends with
John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Mousse
to give hair a malleable texture.

Using John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum
Original Formula, hair was slicked down into a severe
side-part from front to back.

At the nape of the neck, the lengths were tied
into two ponytails, braided and then wrapped into
neat rosette buns.

The strength in this look comes from it’s high
octane shine, so John Frieda Frizz-Ease 100%
Shine Glossing Mist and John Frieda Luxurious
Volume Thickening Hairspray.
