Max Factor nail artist Zarra Celik shows us how to recreate this gorgeous colour pop look for nails at home.

Colour clashing nails have been a huge trend this summer, so don't be afraid to experiment with whatever colours or finishes take your fancy.

If you don't have the steady hand, or patience, required for looks like this, why not try an accent nail instead - where you paint one nail a contrasting or complimentary shade to the rest of your nails.

Check out Zarra's handy tips for recreating the gorgeous colour clash look below.

1. Paint on one thin and even coat of Max Factor Max Colour Effect
Mini Nail Polish in Lollipop, wait for it to dry and apply a good second coat.

2. Then dip a nail striper (a very fine nail polish brush) into Max Factor Max Colour Effect Mini Nail Polish in Cactus Green and draw a fine line across the cuticle line, then sweep round making a half circle. Fill the colour in.

3. Dip the striper into nail polish remover to clean the colour away.
Next colour the nail tips with the striper with Max Factor Max Colour Effect in Candy Blue. Follow the nail edge as a guide. Alternatively you can use a very fine paint brush.

4. Alternate your half moons and tips across your hand and wait five minutes before finishing with Max Factor Nailfinity Top coat.
