Requesting RTÉ Libraries and Archives Material-
Terms and Conditions for Private Use

• RTÉ archive material is made available on the understanding that it is for private use only.
• You must agree to the Terms and Conditions for Private Use of archive material.
• Payment must be made in advance of supply of CDs, DVDs, audiocassettes or photographs containing archive material.
• Research services in excess of one hour will be charged in advance.
• RTÉ Libraries and Archives can only supply material where copyright is available.

Purchasing RTÉ Libraries and Archives Material-
Agreement Terms For Private Use

RTÉ will provide copies of archive material, on the strict understanding that it will not be further copied by you, will not be shown in public and will be used exclusively by yourself for the purposes of your own private viewing or listening.

Materials will be provided at the discretion of RTÉ with due regard to copyright law. Provision of any materials is subject to availability and preservation status of the materials.

You may not supply, sell or otherwise make available the use of the archive material provided to any third party, which would breach RTÉ's copyright as defined in the Copyright and Related Rights Act, 2000.

Materials are provided with the understanding that they are prohibited from use in the context of or in the course of any legal proceedings without the express written permission of RTÉ .
