Sales & Services for Use in Public Exhibitions

We may provide access to, and use of RTÉ archive materials for public exhibitions (including screenings), museums, cultural centres and cultural events subject copyright considerations and terms and conditions.

Timescale

Project and event organizers should be aware that considerable time may be required for your project research, selection, transfer of audio visual content, or photographic printing. Therefore adequate notice for provision of services is advised. This is particularly relevant in the case of non-digitised material, which may require restoration and re-formatting.

Ordering Process-
Public Exhibitions

To order archive material from RTÉ Libraries and Archives, please use the request form to contact RTÉ Library Sales team:

Your request will be confirmed automatically.

You will be contacted by email by a member of RTÉ Libraries and Archives sales team within 7 days to let you know if the material is available to order under the terms and conditions for your specified use. You will also be supplied with details of the cost of ordering the material.

If you are happy with the terms and conditions and the cost specified, you may make an advance payment for the archive material.

You will receive the material within a specified period.

Research, Viewing & Transfer Costs

Charges will apply for all technical costs of access, including research and viewing time, copying and transfers of material. A minimum advance charge must be paid for in full as per RTÉ Libraries and Archives rates applying at the time of access.

In the case of large-scale projects, clients requesting material may be advised to hire professional researchers at the client's own expense.
