RTÉ photographers captured thousands of images for use in programmes, graphics and the RTÉ Guide. In this series of short films, photographers talk about their work, recalling the people, places and events they photographed.

In 1972 Muhammad Ali came to Dublin. Tom Holton recalls photographing the most famous man in the world. He also describes how he got an exclusive picture of Eurovision winners Bucks Fizz. Tom talks about his difficulties photographing the funerals of the Stardust fire victims for RTÉ News and how he revisited history with Vinny Byrne, one of Michael Collins's squad.

Eddie McEvoy recalls the early days of RTÉ Television, describing how he photographed the burning of the GPO, visited great houses throughout the land and climbed the RTÉ mast. He covered US President John F. Kennedy's visit to Ireland and spent a day photographing Eamon de Valera.
