So, no deal for Ireland. Only time will tell whether Enda Kenny's decision to take the Irish case off the agenda at this summit was the wisest course of action. Most of us will take his calculation at face value, at least for now. As Ireland's man on the spot, we can only hope his judgement will produce a “sustainable” result in the end..
