Style Trial: Victoria Beckham

I’m not the biggest fan of Posh’s fashion sense, I usually think she looks over styled and a bit contrived, and this outfit is no exception.

Despite the fact that she usually goes for pretty simple clothes, I don’t think she ever really nails it. A white skirt, black top and cardie sounds pretty inoffensive on paper, but I just think it doesn’t work.

The skirt has a childlike look to it, and paired with the little ankle bows on the shoes and hairband just adds to the effect. Her top is has an unfortunate sheen off it that makes it look kind of cheap, although it undoubtedly cost a pretty penny.

She has an ubiquitous Hermes bag on one arm (she owns 100 of them, apparently, with a total cost topping the one million euro mark. Make me feel a bit better about my dress addiction!)

All this is topped off by her perma-frown and massive sunglasses.
