Style Trial: Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker recently nailed the nude trend at an event in New York, donning a pale pink lace dress with a white, tailored jacket layered over it.
The ‘Sex and the City’ star is as fashion forward as her on-screen character Carrie Bradshaw, and rarely disappoints in her red carpet outings. Her Oscars dress choice was a bit of a letdown though. She went for a pastel-yellow Chanel couture gown which I thought just didn’t work on her at all.
Looks like she’s got her fashion mojo back! I love the sharp jacket with the sleeves rolled up (is it Stella McCartney?) worn over the romantic lace dress. The multiple beaded necklaces add more interest to the outfit, without looking busy, and she wears some silver stacked bangles on one hand.
Black platform heels and a sequinned handbag finish off the look. Her make-up and hair are impeccable too. She’s gone for a naturally gorgeous look with brown shadow, a hint of peachy bronzer and nude lips, with her hair blow-dried into loose waves.
