Style Trial: Nicole Kidman
Is it just me or is Nicole Kidman looking more and more like a waxwork version of herself?
She is pictured here at the London premiere of her new film ‘Nine’. Whereas co-stars Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson went for out-and-out glamour in floor-length gowns, Nicole took a decidedly more relaxed approach.
But I’m not sure it paid off.
The length and style of this skirt, is, dare I say it, a bit childish looking on her. The pleats and shortness give it a girly-girl look which I don’t think fits in with her sober image.
I’m not a huge fan of the structured jacket either, in contrast to the skirt it’s a bit mummyish looking on her.
The nude, cut-out heels don't add anything of note to the ensemble. I’m sure Nicole has no shortage of designers throwing evening dresses her way – hopefully next time she’ll go for that option!
