Style Trial: Lily Allen

Lily Allen just keeps growing in the style stakes. Every time I see a new picture of her, she looks more sophisticated than before, but with her own individual edge.

Being a darling of Karl Lagerfeld’s is doing her no harm, and she probably has an excellent stylist beavering away in the wings, but I still admire the choices she makes!

Here she’s gone for an absolutely fabulous cream beaded frock – which is lent a laid-back vibe with the unusual cut. A Peter Pan collar and front pocketing give this a seriously relaxed attitude, as is apparent in how comfortable she looks wearing it.

Coupled with ankle-length leggings and some mega chunky heels, and tousled, bed-head hair she is the picture of style – without looking like she’s spent hours agonising over her outfit.
