Style Trial: Kate Moss
Kate Moss donned this shocker of a dress for the 2009 British Fashion Awards. I have to say, usually I find she hits the mark with her style choices – but for me – this is a huge miss.
The busy, floor-length dress is John Galliano for Dior, and is, in my opinion, hideous. I find the frills, polka dots and sheer panelling to be overdone, it looks a bit like a Spanish senorita dress that someone has hacked away at with a scissors.
On top of that, in some vague attempt to give the outfit a bit of edge she threw on an equally horrible biker belt with large silver hoops. Why, Kate, why!
Her hair and make-up are pretty nice I have to say, a simple pulled back chignon and a classic smokey eye give her a polished look without looking try-hard.
Still doesn’t make up for that disaster of a frock though.
Do you think I’m overreacting?!
