Style Trial: Diane Kruger
Angelina Jolie looked red-hot in a figure hugging leather bandeau dress at the premiere of 'Inglorious Basterds', however I think it was the film’s star Diane Kruger who really stole the show on the red carpet.
This backless, beaded Versace dress is simply a stunner! The voluminous sleeves look great, but it is the daringly cut back of the dress that gives it the ‘wow’ factor.
It takes nerve and a trusty roll of double sided tape to go for something like this, but she wears it with ease. I love the way the colour of the beads changes from black to navy, so subtle and beautiful.
And it’s nice to see a pair of heels on the red carpet that don’t have the ubiquitous Louboutin sole – the cornflower blue of her shoes stands out much better! Those are some towering stilettos too – they set the dress off perfectly. A little boxy clutch and she’s good to go.
Simple, glamorous, and devastatingly sexy. Go Kruger!
