Style Trial: Daisy Lowe

Is this what passes for red carpet dressing in the fashion world these days?

I was shocked to see the usually quirky-but-prettily-dressed Daisy Lowe trussed up in this sheer fabric with suspenders and purple satin underwear.

She wore this to the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ premiere, so it might be a somewhat themed outfit, although it’s one that is lost on me.

The black piece of clothing barely qualifies as a dress, and the blazer does little to protect her modesty. I know the underwear-as-outerwear trend is all the rage but this is taking it a bit far!

All this is made even more ridiculous given the freezing weather conditions and lashing rain at the premiere. Her hair has taken the bedhead look into just plain dishevelled and frizzy. Top marks on the make-up though which makes her look fresh faced and pretty and I'm liking the red and silver platform shoes.
