Style Trial: Cheryl Cole

I normally adore Cheryl’s style – in fairness to her, she rarely puts a foot wrong when it comes to her fashion choices.

This dress though, is a step too far in the futuristic fashion stakes, and not a good choice for Cheryl. While she does rock a good quirky look from time to time, I think she’s best going ultra-glam and girly.

This unusual, fan-style frock was a risky choice which I felt didn’t pay off. The cut of the dress is really unflattering, two fans attached to the neck with a black collar, and a weird stomach baring cut-out bit in the middle.

Over-the-knee boots are all the rage at the moment, and I think they could have worked a lot better if the rest of the outfit had been simpler.

Her lovely locks were scraped back so as not to detract from the busy neckline, and hoop earrings were the only accessory she deployed.

What do you make of this outfit? Is it a ‘sack the stylist’ moment?!
