The Showbiz Blog - The Stars You Want To Be!
Do you ever watch a show on telly and find yourself saying: "Aw, I want to BE Cheryl Cole" (or whoever else takes your fancy)? I do it all the time, which got me thinking… if I could be anyone for a day who would I want to be?
Fearne Cotton for the cool job and funky clothes
I'm a huge fan of Fearne's presenting style and her wardrobe. I like that she's a bit cheeky when throwing questions at stars and that she has the best shoe collection ever. She also has the sort of personality which seems to allow her to get away with things that other people wouldn't be able to say. We salute that. It's boring if everyone always asks the same questions.
Kirsten Dunst for the flawless skin and perfect smile
Kirsten Dunst is one of the those people who just looks effortlessly cool wearing pretty much anything. Often you'll see her wearing an outfit that shouldn't work, and would probably look ridiculous on anyone else, but she somehow manages to pull it off. And she really knows how to reinvent her look with hair and make-up adjustments that completely transform her. But then again, maybe it's easier when you have flawless skin and a perfect smile.
Holly Willoughby for The X Factor gig
Rising star Holly seems to be everywhere these days and I think she's a welcome fresh face on telly. She's a little bit normal, is Holly. She's runs around backstage at 'The X Factor' being scared of Simon Cowell, being in awe of Cheryl Cole and being lovely to the nervous contestants. And most of the time she just says what you're thinking yourself, which is a lovely natural style of presenting. We like!
Cheryl Cole… Why Not?
'X Factor' favourite Cheryl is one of the those women that has both men and women glued to their TV sets. Women want to be like her, men want to drool over her (even Simon Cowell admitted that he'd like to kiss her this week - that won't make the 'X Factor' experience a bit awkward next series, Simon - nice move!). Cheryl not only has a natural beauty and great style but she comes across as warm and considerate on the show and that goes a long way on reality TV.
Simon Cowell… Now that would be fun
So far all of my selections are obvious enough - gorgeous ladies with plenty of shoes and fancy frocks… and probably a few stylists and make-up artists thrown in too. But, in the words of Beyoncé, "If I were a boy…" then I think I'd choose to be Simon Cowell (Beyoncé didn't actually say that last piece you understand!). Why Simon? Why not? The power, the jet-setting lifestyle, the holiday homes, the respect - it's bound to be fun, for a day at least. So Simon, if you're reading and you fancy swapping jobs for a day, just give us a call!
