Big Brother - Its not about the winning...

Well now wasn’t that an interesting episode of BB last night? The only conclusion I can draw is that there are at least two boys in that house who think they have a very good chance of winning and are determined to do everything they can to protect their position. And neither of them is called Siavash!

Charlie and Rodrigo put in two divatastic performances last night and in the process scuppered whatever remote chance they had of going home with the cash. Charlie in particular showed his true colours when he brought Siavash’s behaviour towards his girlfriend into the argument he demonstrated his desperation to win. He may as well have shouted at him ‘And I don’t like you hair’ for all the relevance events with Noirín had to last night’s dispute. The bottom line is that he didn’t care that Siavash has indirectly nominated him (he knew he would not be up for eviction), he was more concerned that Siavash had made himself look like a nice guy and was in with a shot at the big prize.

Rodrigo’s behaviour was inspired by exactly the same motivation. Yet again he chose to rant on about rules and regulations but that was just window dressing. He didn’t want Siavash winning favour with the public.

David also rowed in but to a lesser extent and I actually felt sorry for him when he started talking about his contract with Big Brother. He basically said ‘when I am asked to jump, I ask how high – that is how I was raised’. This is clearly not a man prepared to question things.

It will be a close call on Friday. Yesterday I would have said Siavash will go but after last night it will be a much closer race. Marcus certainly didn’t impress me when he slyly backed the ranting boys by implying that he had been telling them for weeks that Siavash was a game player. For all his honesty I can’t remember him telling Siavash this.

Only Sophie, Siavash and Lisa, to a lesser extent, came out of the dispute with some dignity. I’m still backing the hairy one to win!

woohoo i totally agree with you Bree !! SIAVASH TO WIN !! those two really didnt do themselves any favours last night at all and im delighted they showed their true colours so close to the end!! sophie did herself proud last night and i want her to come second....as for the rest of them they will leave one by one (hopefully starting with marcus on friday)... Siavash was right when he said each week its someone different they single out (freddie , bea (even though i couldnt stand her)) and this week is his turn .... he will show them woo

Siavash or Sophie are the only ones who deserve to win ,the rest are all bullys or followers afraid of their own shadows

The reason Charlie brought up the Noirin thing is cos Siavash was going on saying that he couldn't vote cos of his morals so Charlie asked him what happended to his morals when he done the dirt on his girlfiend and on his best friend, I think Charlie was dead right, Siavash has been going around playing the victim since Noirin dumped him and trying to get everyone on his side, I seriously can't understand how people like him or feel sorry for him

Siavash didn't say he couldn't vote because of his morals or anything else like that, he couldn't vote because he wanted to be up for eviction, he explained this over and over and neither charlie or rodrigo or it seems some of the public seemed to be listening to him!

Well said Bree! I just could NOT believe the "divatasic" (as you put it...well said!)performance both guys put on, and the "girlfriend" thrown in by Charlie on more than one occasion, their true colours really shone last night and Marcus did himself NO favours. Sophie stood by/up Siavash, I'm wondering is she more cleaver than we think... or is it cause she MAY have the hots for him!(she is the fav at the mo to win!). SIAVASH to win.

I'm sorry Charlie was right to say what he said to Siavash. Siavash started on the Bea incident where "ALL" housemates were laughing because of her actions the day of the family messages, he was trying to say that Charlie and Rodrigo had no morals by laughing at that situation. Who is he to come all high and mighty? Charlie responded by putting him on his place, and good on him for that! Siavash was certain that if he came up against Marcus and David he would be safe. What happenned now is David is not up and the whole thing has blown up on his face, i'm delighted!

It was deffo uncharachteristic(spelling) like of Marcus saying that about Siavash last night. He still hasn't been the same since the Noirin incident. He still feels that Siavash let him down.Charlie(Brian Dowling wannabe) and Rodrigo were showing us there juvenile sides again.CAN'T STAND THEM!!! .Then there's Sophie(obviously Jade Goody wannabe) who was doing the right thing last night but as for the geography test.....I'm sorry to you Sophie fans but how put on was that.We all know she is a bit dim but C'MON!!! Anyway who ever stays on Friday I will be shouting for to win.Mr. cool/nice Siavash or Mr. genuine/funny Marcus.

I do think that Charlie and Rodrigo went OTT in their reactions to this... BUT really, if Siavash wanted to go up so badly, he could have actually nominated Charlie and Sophie (or Lisa) rather than abstaining. It would have the same effect, except that in his way, he looked to be more 'moral' for not nominating... that said, i still like Siavash.. but Sophie to win !

I was so dissapointed with Marcus last night jumping on the bandwagon against Siavash, but its not the first time, he tried to get freddie to not trust Siavash when Siavash was only trying to help him with Bea. I agree with you Bree that Marcus is not as honest as he likes to think he is! Marcus to go on Friday!

The game of big brother is number one try not to get nominated by your fellow housemates so why doe Siavash feel the need not the let housemates play this game. What bothered me the most last night was that he was convienced that if he didnt nominate David that he wouldnt be up becuase David would get the most votes which was wrong.. Siavash was up no matter what. Now god forbid I ask this question but here goes.. Why do so many people HATE Lisa?? If you ask me she is the only one who has stayed her true self through out the show. Fair enough she may b*itch behind backs (who doesnt) but she would also say it to there faces, doesnt cause trouble and bascially stays out of the stupid arguments. She may have a vile mouth but nothing compared to Marcus. Now I have to admit I hated Marcus at the start but he is slightly growing on me. I actually do hope Sophie wins and its not the blonde act routine (OMG she didnt know where her own country was)but Sophie is a genuine nice girl who's aim in the house is to have fun (which is what the experience should be all about)

If Siavash just wanted to be up for eviction he should have just asked all the housemates to nominate him?? He didnt do this because he fancied his chances a bit better if he was up against both David and Marcus rather than just being up against Marcus. I really liked Siavash before this week, but all he seems to be doing lately is scheming and calculating!

I don't know who will go on friday between Siavash and Marcus - i'd say it'll be a close call, I do think Siavash shot himself in the foor last night with the whole wanting the 3 of them to be up, he even said it himself that if he was against marcus that he'd probs go and so he thought that if the 3 of them were up that David would go - but unfortunately for him - David didn't receive as many votes as Siavash thought. Charlie did show it true colours last night bringing out the cheating on his girlfriend thing, considering he never mentioned it b4 last night. I really just wish that Marcus would stop talking bout the graveyard shift - too much information. Sophie to win or Marcus if he can keep his nocturnal activities to himself..

if anyone actually listened to the argument last night siavash was saying that when he tried out for bb he said that he wouldnt follow rules bb want this .. they dont want people like lisa or rod and david who just do what they are told , sit back and see what happens that would be boring for everyone... siavash to win i was beginning to warm to marcus but last night put and end to that SIAVASH TO WIN

Siavash to win all the way,if he nominated we wouldnt seen the fight and BB will be boring to watch,so it was a good thing he didnt nominate:)
