The Clinic - Episode Three

After watching this week's episode of The Clinic you'd have to wonder, yet again, if Dan will ever learn. There's an argument that it's more entertaining to watch nasty Dan in action but I wish he'd tone down the evil looks a little bit.

The Hearing
Last night's Medical Council hearing had all the necessary drama, with outbursts and damning statements, and although you always felt that the result could only go one way, there were enough twists to keep you wondering just a little bit. In particular, Dan's rant was really powerful. He's at his best when he's all fired up and passionate about something, and it was sad watching him talk about all the things that he'd miss sharing with Cathy and their daughter.

Trouble ahead for Daisy?
Every time I see poor Daisy softening towards Dan I worry for her. I know this week that he went out of his way to tell her how much he needed her but you know Dan, that could all change next week if he wants something or finds himself in a spot of bother… and if the teaser at the end of the show is anything to go by then Daisy could be set for a major scrap with Alice, as well as some heartache! (And I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of Alice!)

Clodagh V Alice
Alice seems determined to do everything she can to stir things up between Lorcan and Clodagh these days but I'd say she will have her work cut out trying to get the better of Clodagh, who seems fiercely loyal to, and protective of, Lorcan. Their battle could make for some interesting storylines though.
