The Clinic - Episode Three

What's Dan playing at?There's never a dull moment in 'The Clinic' and this week everyone seemed to have their own little drama to contend with. Dan is still a man on a mission to bring down Niall Boylan. Julia has had to contend with a patient trying to abort her baby because she almost died during her last pregnancy. Daisy has had to make a very tough decision, with pressure coming from Conor, Julia and Dan, who has his own agenda. But in the back of her own mind it seems that it's only Cathy's wishes that matters to her.

Ruairi is causing trouble again. And what about badboy Ruairi? I figured it was just a matter of time before he started causing trouble for someone. But the thing with Ruairi is that he's a likeable rogue so no matter how far over the line he crosses (like reading patient files and having affairs) you're always going to be tempted to take his side because he's Mr Charmer in spite of it all.

Lately watching Cara with the children in the clinic you're kind of wondering if she's stable enough to always do the right thing. Sometimes you see her staring at someone's child and you worry that she may flip and decide to run off with one of the children that she's put in charge of. Hopefully not, but it seems like her storyline may be building up to something much bigger.

Clodagh is getting close to Lorcan. And what about Clodagh volunteering to help Lorcan out at his after-hours clinic? Talk about ulterior motives. She seems so out of her comfort zone attending to the recovering addicts that Lorcan treats. But will he push her away now she's getting close enough to spot his symptoms?

And what about Dan and Alice? Is there potential for romance there or could Dan just be trying to get revenge on Lorcan, in the same way that he is setting up Niall? Just when we were starting to like Dan it seems that he's going to head back to his nasty guy image, which, to be fair, sits much easier with him anyway.
