Party Political Broadcast On Behalf of the Tea Party!

So Romeo followed his Juliet out of camp last night and all I can say is thank goodness for the revolutionary zeal of Gino D’Acampo - otherwise this would be a very brief entry.

I love a man with a cause - especially when it is of the magnitude of last night’s. These celebrities are oppressed, beaten down by their circumstances and trod on mercilessly by the jackboots of their masters (oops I mean producers!). So to think that after finally eeking out a minor victory and winning a chest challenge, that they were given three scones instead of five and no tea when the prize was clearly advertised as a cream tea was just horrific to behold!

I mean I could forgive the three scones but no tea – what is the World coming to?

As Stuart rightly pointed out “Can you imagine giving that to the Queen?”. In our case it would be like President Mary McAleese coming round to visit and being offered half a scone and no beverage. Shocking!

It just wouldn’t be tolerated and it was not. After being wound tighter than a coiled spring on the subject, Gino unleashed Kim on an unsuspecting staffer in the cabin. “You are making monkeys out of us” The poor bloke didn’t stand a chance and I suspect he may have personally ran to the nearest kettle to get a brew on.

Justice was done – a victory for the common man!

Well not the common man actually because as Kimmie rightly pointed out “we’re celebrities”. But let it be an example to all of us next time we are short-changed in any way - particularly in the tea department. Café owners around the country should be quaking in fear.

Stuart seemed surprised to be out last night but at least he was honest in his interview and said he wanted to be in the final three. He, like Sabrina, kept tight-lipped about their friendship – they are saving that for Heat magazine. A nice enough guy but it is clearly a straight fight now between Kim and Gino.

I have not changed my mind so vote Gino – champion of the oppressed!
